The need is real. The potential is enormous and two researchers at the University of Guelph are the first to unlock access to the pain relief potential of cannabis. This new discovery unlocks the potential to create a naturally derived pain treatment 30 times more powerful at reducing inflammation than Asprin.

By examining how the cannabis plant creates two important pain-relieving molecules, cannflavin A and cannflavin B, researchers were able to identify which cannabis genes are required to create these important anti-inflammatory flavonoids.

The potential to create an array of products for acute and chronic pain sufferers that is safe and avoids the risk of addiction is paramount. There is an immense need across the board to develop safe, effective alternatives for acute and chronic pain that go beyond what is currently offered.

This sort of therapeutic potential requires experienced product development. If you are looking to enter into the pain-relief market, Genova can help you take your idea from concept to consumer product. Contact us today for more information.
