Its Tristarâ„¢ range includes milled stearic acid grades positioned as tablet lubricants and processing aids, supporting smooth tablet ejection while reducing clumping, sticking to punches and tooling wear, and enabling direct compression of granulates. Tristarâ„¢ 149 is positioned as an alternative to magnesium and zinc stearate, providing formulators with an alternative lubricant option without necessarily requiring a complete reformulation, while Tristarâ„¢ NF is offered for pharmaceutical and nutritional tableting applications.
